The aim of the master's thesis is to explore the transformation of memory and to find ways to preserve a dark heritage both in its immaterial and material forms. As a result of the thesis, one can become more aware of the role of heritage keepers in the transformation of memory. The process of conservation work also demonstrates how important it is to understand the materials of an object in order to protect heritage and preserve it in the right conditions for future generations.
